Injustice 2 feels like a comic book story brought to life, with real weight put into the characters' motives and actions. With a more robust story, an expanded and eclectic roster of fighters, and faster, more responsive controls, the game takes everything that fans loved about the original and cranks it up. Thankfully, Injustice 2 has no shortage of superhumans. This enhanced sequel takes to the skies with more than enough content and depth to appeal to fighting and comic book fans. Can the two friends-turned-enemies work together to save those they both hold dear, or will their differences prove too much, leading the world to utter destruction at the hands of Brainiac? With a roster of unique fighters pulled from the extensive DC Comics history, Injustice 2 lets players step into the capes and tights of their favorite heroes and villains in superpowered combat to decide once and for all who's more powerful - and determine the fate of the world in the process. But when a new threat appears with his eyes set on the destruction of the planet, the Dark Knight is forced to consider an uneasy alliance with the former Kryptonian dictator. After freeing the world from the oppressive rule of Superman and his regime, Batman and his allies attempt to rebuild and restore peace to the world. With an epic new story, a frequently expanded roster of fighters, and the introduction of customizable gear, INJUSTICE 2 continues and builds upon the events introduced to players in the original Injustice: Gods Among Us. This game is just a bunch of Super Hero's and Super Villain's Battling each other so I would say give it a go but if you don't think you'll enjoy it that much then that's fine. There really isn't anything about drinking or smoking but there is swearing such as S***, A** and B****. The game involves breaking people backs, necks stabbing hearts, shooting throat's and being ripped apart by Bud and Lou aka Harley Quinn's hyenas. Sense this game is DC it makes the game a lot more enjoyable and you might even learn about characters you have never even heard of before. But if you play this story mode I would probably say its a lot more violent. If you play the fighting mode in the game there's diffidently a mild amount of gore but to me its not super bad. You can actually buy characters in the game such as Sub-Zero and Raiden which I thought was a pretty cool feature. The game is a lot like Mortal Combat another amazing fighting game. Injustice 2 releases May 16 for Xbox One and PS4.I've been playing this game for about 2 years now and I think its a pretty good game. Time will tell though.ĭo you think the tweets mean anything? Would you buy a Nintendo Switch version? Let us know in the comments. Of course, the Wii U did end up bombed as a whole it sales and it looks like the Switch will end up being more successful. This will give the developers more time to optimize the game for the Nintendo Switch’s hardware and it will give players a complete experience all at once.Ī not so happy possibility is that NetherRealm looked at the sales of the first Injustice on the Wii U, just under 200,000 copies sold according to VG Chartz, and thought it’s not worth the time to release a Nintendo Switch version. The Ultimate Edition of the first Injustice was how the game debuted on PC so it is possible the second will debut on the Switch and PC in that way. Street Fighter 2 is coming later this month.Ī possible option is the Nintendo Switch receiving an Ultimate Edition of the game with all the DLC packed in down the line. Hori is making a fight stick for the Nintendo Switch so that will pave the way for future fighters to be on the console.
